Oradell Children’s Taekwondo Autism Treatment

If your child has autism, you should become familiar with our program, Sensory Taekwon-Do, because we know that your child will be able to greatly benefit from the whole brain/whole body experience our program offers. This program was started by our 2nd degree black belt and Director and Innovator of Sensory Taekwon-Do, Dr. Kerry Escamilla. Many of our clients come here for our innovative Oradell children’s taekwondo autism treatment program.

Our founder, Dr. Escamilla, has advanced training in neurology and functional medicine, and specializes in early childhood spectrum disorders. He has done years of research relating to the brain and biomedical interventions. Dr. Kerry has treated many children on the spectrum so it is not surprising that this whole body/whole brain approach is so successful. Our Oradell children’s taekwondo autism treatment is based on martial arts. This breakthrough martial arts program is custom-designed for each child who participates in it. The basis of the program comes from the neurological studies that incorporate movement exercises as a way to create healthier pathways to the brain. When the areas in the brain that incorporate balance, body awareness, and working memory are stimulated, it is possible to promote growth and improve connectivity. Children on the spectrum can present a wide range of symptoms; for this reason, we have incorporated a one-to-one treatment program which also includes nutritional coaching. During these sessions we play music that is specifically designed to right brain and left brain functions.

If your child is on the spectrum we know that he or she will benefit from our Oradell children’s taekwondo autism treatment experience. If you would like to learn more about our specific programs and learn more about how your child can benefit from participation in this program, we hope you will contact us. We will be happy to set up an appointment where we can further explain to you exactly how our program will benefit your child.
